Generations (Children)
From the earliest ages we want our children to know that they can participate in God’s church. In Generations, we seek to do more than just provide childcare while parents attend the Sunday service! Our goal is to come alongside parents and support them in training and teaching their children to know and love God and his gospel.
Each Sunday morning your child can be part of a safe, exciting and active environment that’s filled with songs, games, crafts, memory verses and teaching time that helps them explore the pages of the Bible to dive deeper and discover more about our great God and the good news of Jesus Christ.
Every week our committed team of volunteers is dedicated to making Sunday morning the best part of your child’s week.
The Generations Créche is a fully staffed créche for babies and toddlers aged 6-months to 4 years old. In this warm, welcoming, comfortable environment, parents can leave their children with our experienced team, safe in the knowledge that they will be cared for and entertained with toys and aged-appropriate activities.
Generations is our sunday school for kids aged 5-11 years old. We believe that the simple message that Jesus died for our sins can and should be taught, even to our youngest children.
During these classes, children enjoy a wide-range of activities including their own worship time, crafts, games and quizzes. We use the gospel-centred Sunday school curriculum, “God’s Story” which walks through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, relating every story of the Bible to the big, unstoppable story of God’s redemptive plan.
The security of all the children is a priority in Generations Sunday School. For your peace of mind, all of our volunteers are required to attend our Child Protection Training, which includes signing up to our Best Practice and Child Protection Policy document. We are registered with the CCPAS (Churches Child Protection Advisoy Service). In addition, it is our continuing aim to have all our Generations team background checked and to be in possession of a current Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
