If after looking at this you would like to get involved in some way then please note that at the end of every Sunday morning service we do have an information point. This provides us with an opportunity to grab five with you over a cuppa, and get to know you better, as well as link you up with other freshers and students from your area. If on the other hand you just want to get stuck straight in then if you see it on this site, just dive in!
Here’s what we have going on…
Sunday Meeting
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am for contemporary worship and relevant biblical teaching, followed by copious amounts of coffee and cake. If you are visiting for the first time you can also pick
up one of our special student visitor bags which are filled with goodies.
LIFE
Is designed for all those aged between 18-30 years old (whether you be working or a student). The
goal of Life is to equip us to live passionately and purposefully for Jesus Christ. There’s opportunities
for fellowship, friendship, service, discipleship and outreach with the gospel. Every week there’s always
something going on and you can get involved in as much or as little as you like…
LIFE Lunches
Every Sunday during the month of October we offer FREE lunches after the morning service. From then on we’ll all come together once a month for a big meal after the Sunday meeting. Just bring your empty stomach, and fill your plate. We’ll even drop you back home!
LIFE Socials
Twice a month we gather together for a whole bunch of fun. We’re always looking for new ways to have a laugh and enjoy life. Activities range from beach walks and film nights to sports and road trips. There’s something for everyone….
LIFE “Discipleship”
Twice a month we meet for dedicated teaching, discipleship and small group discussion. These times are designed to equip us with discernment and wisdom, so that we might think biblically about a whole range of issues and topics that are specific to this season of life.
Home groups
Three times a month the whole church gathers in small groups in homes across the city to talk about how we can apply the Sunday teaching, pray for one another and build friendships. If you would like
to get involved there’s bound to be a group near you!
Yearly Weekend Away
Every year the whole church packs up and sets off for a big weekend away! It’s a great opportunity to take a break from the norm, have a whole weekend of fun, get to know each other better, listen to biblical teaching and worship God.
Serving opportunities
If you’d like to get more involved in the ‘nuts and bolts’ of Grace Church there are loads of ways for you to do it”! “Generations” is our Sunday school for children. If you are musical or can sing you could join our worship team. If you like meeting new people you can join our welcoming team. Dab hand in the kitchen? Why not get involvedin cooking meals. No transport? No problem!
We offer lifts to anyone and everyone to church every Sunday morning your around, as well as for LIFE and all of our events. We’re aware that so many students have no way of getting around so please just drop us a call, text or email and we’ll get you sorted.
